C.H.A.O.S!

St. Mark's Youth Group, C.H.A.O.S, is a group of young people (Grades 7 to 12) who regularly come together and are excited about sharing and growing in their faith.

Our Youth events involve a mixture of fun games and activities, making new friends, having a few laughs, enjoying supper, and learning about Jesus.

Our Vision for 2024 Youth Ministry is:

"To be a place where Christ’s love crashes into the world’s chaos through the Holy Spirit’s partnership with ordinary people. This creates an opportunity to grow in faith, empower authentic discipleship, and equip them for their life-long faith journey."

Signing in and out:

Due to keeping our youth and leaders safe throughout the events of C.H.A.O.S.

If a parent or family member is not signing in youth, we ask that you fill out a simple form that we have written permission from parents about the youth going home with someone else so we can ensure they get home safely. Those on their red P plates can only drive themselves or family members to and from the youth event.

If a youthies guardian is a youth leader, those youth are to remain in the Church building until the leaders have finished their de-brief meeting. Youths are not allowed to walk over to Maccas; they are to be driven by the guardian or walk over with their guardian.

Please fill out the form (Click Here) and return it via email or hand it to the Church office.

C.H.A.O.S On HOLIDAYS!
See You in 2025

Title.png

WORD-DAY Wednesday

Each week on a Wednesday we will be releasing a devotion that will have the following:

  • Scripture

  • Message

  • Application

  • Prayer

A Possible structure that you could use for these devotions:

  • Start with the highs and lows of the week/day

  • Then this makes it a little bit easier to ease into the devotion; this allows for authentic and genuine conversations as they feel like they have been listened to

  • Get the kids to read out a section each to take ownership of the devotion

If you miss a week, I have saved each devotion in a Google doc folder to access these any time during the week Click Here

St. Mark's Church strongly opposes any kind of child abuse. St. Mark's Church is committed to the safety, protection and well-being of all children and young people from all forms of abuse and neglect and actively seeks to prevent its occurrence. We make every effort to provide an environment of safety and support for all children and young people.

As Christians, we know and proclaim that God loves all human beings. Responding to that love in how we behave towards one another is an important part of that message. As Jesus says in John 13:35, 'If you love each other, everyone will know that you are my disciples'.
