LCANZ Local Mission Annual Appeal:
The Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand’s Local Mission team have launched their annual appeal. Your support of this fundraising appeal enables you to support mission fields, in sharing the good news of God’s amazing love. Envelopes available on the table in the narthex.
Church Pew Removal:
Calling all those with muscles!!!!!
We need you ……… for a Working Bee (free Gym session) 😊 to remove the pews from inside the church before the interior painting commences in October. Saturday 24th September 9am - Free BBQ and refreshments to follow for lunch

The Chinchilla Church of Christ has organised an “afternoon in the country” with artist Brendon Walmsley, with all proceeds going to Eva’s Place, Chinchilla.

Prayers for the Week:
· For those in authority, such as Queen Elizabeth and her representatives; Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and members of parliament; Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and state parliamentarians; and Mayor Paul McVeigh and local councillors; that they may not turn their backs on the needs of the third world
· For the Church, LCAQD; that it would continue the work of Jesus in seeking out and saving those who have lost their way
· For the pastors Bishop Paul smith, District Bishop Mark Vainikka; Pastor Joel Pukallus and all pastors; that they may preach the word of God
· For the leaders of nations throughout the world, and for all in high authority
· For parents, that they may rightly exercise their God-given authority in the home
· For the poor and oppressed, who live under the consequences of authority that has been abused
