Kids' Zone (formally known as "Sunday School") is a fun gathering held for Pre-prep to Year 6 children design to help nourish and support the faith of the youngest members of our church family. Bringing children to know more about God's love for them in a relaxed and fun environment.
It's held during State School terms. It starts at approximately 10:30am and finishes at 11:15am.
Kids' Zone starts with the all important morning tea in the playground, followed by a song or Bible verse lesson in the Sunday School building. Class groups then split into a Pre-prep to Year 2 group, and Year 3 to Year 6 group. These gatherings involve stories, discussion, activity sheets, craft, prayer and more. We usually focus on one of the Church Service readings for that day to help encourage families to continue talking about what they learnt in both church and Kids' Zone at home during the week.
Participants' names are recorded at the beginning of Sunday School and parents sign out and collect children. All our volunteers hold Blue Cards.
Children are also invited to take part in our Holiday Fun Time program held during the Easter holidays.
