Dalby Committees
Pastoral Assistants
St Mark’s has a Committee of Pastoral Assistants who assist the Pastor in his ministry and support the spiritual life of the Congregation and its Members. Pastoral Assistants assist with Communion, take communion to those who are unable to attend Church and to Nursing Homes in Dalby Ningana (Aged Care Facility) and Karingal Nursing Home (attached to the Hospital). The Pastoral Assistants meets once a month and pray for our Members, Pastor and his Wife.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of the Pastor, Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Head of Pastoral Assistants. This committee meets as required.

Administration Committee
The Administration Committee oversees property and planning, financial management, welfare and community care, district and general Church. This Committee meets once a month. The Pastor is also a member of this Committee.

TEAM Committee
Teaching, Education and Ministry (TEAM) Committee’s general aims include overseeing and developing ministry and education needs of the congregation and integrating these with the Parish. This role includes worship, all age education programs, home groups, stewardship, evangelism, and fellowship. This Committee meets once a month. The Pastor is also a member of this Committee.

Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee is responsible for actively seeking out nominations for church positions and committees. This Committee is made up of the Pastor and one representative each from Pastoral Assistants, Administration and TEAM Committees and two Members from the Congregation.
Safe Church
We are committed to upholding Professional Standards, Risk Management and Child-Safe activities and programs. There are two Safe Church Coordinators at St Mark’s and team leader training is in progress. Team Member Workshops are hosted most years, with the most recent training held in Dalby in August 2019 with around 20 participants.
