DCC College Chaplain for 2022:

Dalby Christian College is seeking a part time Chaplain to commence in 2022. If you are interested in the position which is 20 hours per week, can you please contact the College office via email office@dalbycc.qld.edu.au


Women’s Fellowship Annual Fees:

Women’s Fellowship Annual donations (membership) is now due, $30 it also includes Lutheran Women magazine and Newsletter. For those Ladies (and some Gents) who wish to subscribe to the Lutheran Women’s magazine only, is now $14. This includes postage. These magazine will posted directly to your postal address (please supply). Please see Chris von Pein before the end of December with your payment.

LCA Story of the Week:

A big part of Grow Ministries’ work is to develop resources that support families and congregations in their ministry to children and young people. As the end of the year approaches and we look forward to a new one, Director Jodi Brook highlights an updated resource that equips congregations to partner with parents to share and nurture faith.

Prayers for the Week:

· For those in authority, such as Queen Elizabeth and her representatives; Prime Minister Scott Morrison and members of parliament; Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and state parliamentarians; and Mayor Paul McVeigh and local councillors; that they would have the wisdom to look beyond the here and now and plan for future generations

· For the Church, LCAQD; that it may be prepared for the celebration of the birth of Christ

· For the pastors Bishop John Henderson, District Bishop Mark Vainikka; Pastor Joel Pukallus and all pastors;

· For all Christians, that like Mary they may believe the word that is spoken to them

· For those who are caught up in the material preparations for Christmas

· For safe travel for those on holidays

· For expecting mothers (and fathers), for mothers who have lost children, and for women/couples who want a child but have not been able to have one

· For adoption agencies, orphanages, and those who take care of children

· For peace among families gathering together at Christmas
