Dalby Circle of Care – A Huge THANK YOU!

What a wonderful effort by an amazing team from St Mark’s Lutheran Church when they provided 182 meals for people in need in Dalby. They were also able to stock our freezer with 55 meals to be given out during the week. We know the meal was delicious because one of our “eat-in” tables spontaneously voted the meal 11 out of 10 and asked one of our volunteers to make sure St Mark’s knew they appreciated the meal so much.

Dalby Circles of Care appreciates the ongoing commitment of St Mark’s to those who are needy in our community and we could not function if it were not for churches, groups, sporting clubs and businesses in Dalby who commit to providing meals. What a great community we live in. Thank you again for your awesome effort!

Prayer Points for the Week:

·        Pour out your life-giving Spirit on your holy church throughout the world and equip its members with the gifts of your Spirit.

·        Let your Spirit move over our unruly world and heal its broken people.

·        Unloose the tongues of all your people, so that they may joyfully confess you as their Lord and boldly proclaim their common faith to all the world.

·        Sharpen the consciences of those who hear your word and convince them of its truth, so that they may turn from their sins and receive the gift of forgiveness.

·        Let your Spirit renew the faith of all those who have been baptised, so that they may devote themselves in public worship to the teaching of the apostles, the giving of gifts to you, the breaking of bread in the Lord's supper, and the prayer of the church for the world.
