Pastor Paul Smith will be installed as Bishop of LCANZ today at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Adelaide at 3pm. The service will be live-streamed. See LCA website for details

Prayers for the Week:
· For those in authority, such as Queen Elizabeth and her representatives; Prime Minister Scott Morrison and members of parliament; Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and state parliamentarians; and Mayor Paul McVeigh and local councillors; that they would have the wisdom to look beyond the here and now and plan for future generations
· For the Church, LCAQD; that it may be a sign of forgiveness in the world
· For the pastors Bishop Paul smith, District Bishop Mark Vainikka; Pastor Joel Pukallus and all pastors; for the preaching of the word of God, that Christ may be made known
· For the installation of Bishop Paul Smith to the LCANZ
· For those divided by enmity and hatred, that by forgiveness broken relationships might be restored
· For those whose poverty has reduced them to begging, that we may see their need before they need to ask for it
· For the gift of generosity, that the resources of the world may be shared by all
· For families that are divided or alienated from one another
· For magistrates and judges, that they may temper justice with due compassion
· For those who are dying, that they may know the hope of the resurrection
