LCANZ Local Mission Annual Appeal:
The Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand’s Local Mission team have launched their annual appeal. Your support of this fundraising appeal enables you to support mission fields, in sharing the good news of God’s amazing love. Envelopes available on the table in the narthex.
Dalby Eva’s Place:
Dalby Eva's Place has a lovely client (reliable, of good character & able to pay) who is looking for a place to rent. There is next to nothing available through the agents in Dalby at the moment & her need is great. Does anyone have a private rental, or even a granny flat, that would be suitable for a single mum with a newborn to rent? Dalby Eva's Place would love to hear from you on mobile 0490 046 332.
Joey’s Explorers:
Trevor and Jules Nimmo provide community members the opportunity to experience places of interest in our town and district. They do day trips that run approx. from 9.30am – 2.00pm. Morning tea and lunch are provided. Next trip will be to Chinchilla on the 15 September. If interested, please contact Megan James – 0419 946 575.

OCC Christmas Shoeboxes:
Christmas Shoeboxes and brochures are now available from the narthex. We have been advised that all the boxes will go through to Sydney this year for final packing. The closing date for collection will be 9th October.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
The Chairman asks we all assist in ensuring after use of our buildings that lights are turned off, doors locked where applicable and water at basins, sinks etc is turned off. This has come about after the water was found running in the Hall toilet basin on Wednesday night after an undetermined amount of time. As issues are noticed please advise Gayle at the Office or contact the Chairman.
SWQLP B & E meeting:
The agenda and reports are available for the Parish Budget & Elections meeting to be held at Downfall Creek on Sunday 11 September. There will be a service at 10.30am followed by a shared lunch, then the meeting at 1.00pm.
Stamps for Mission:
Start collecting your stamps - Sale of used postage stamps raises thousands of dollars to support God's mission in the world. Stamps can be left at the church office.
