South West Queensland Christian Convention (SWQCC):
SWQCC 2021 with Gary Millar from Queensland Theological college – July 16-18 in Dalby. Hosted at the Dalby Christian College, SWQCC was started to give churches across regional areas the encouragement and benefit of gathering together as a big group. With a focus on gospel centred preaching, seminars built for rural areas and stories of Christian life from our region this is a convention for the South West and by the South West.

LCA Story of the Week:
Advocates for ‘ethical shopping’ say we should consider the environmental and social impact of what we buy. And, taking guidance from the Bible, we can make a good case for Christians to demonstrate love for their neighbours and care for God’s earth in this way. But is it that straightforward?

· For the Church, LCAQD; for the people of God, the church, throughout the world, that God's glory be sought and not humanity's
· For the pastors Bishop John Henderson, District Bishop Paul Smith; Pastor Joel Pukallus and all pastors;
· For people of influence, political leaders, all governing bodies, especially those who influence ethical decisions
· For the judicial system, the courts, judges, lawyers, barristers, the police, prison workers
· For all victims of abuse and crime
· For all in prison because of wrong things they have done, that they may turn from the ways of their past
