School Chaplains
Caring conversations, ball games, Lego, knitting, brekkie and lunch clubs, personal development programs, and everything in between … the role of a School Chaplain is vast! For many students, having access to a Pastoral Support Person is life-changing (and sometimes life-saving!). It was so wonderful to hear from Chappies Karl and Sandy last week. Please support the local Chaplaincy work if you can https://su.org.au/.../dalby-district-chaplaincy-non-tax.../
The Chaplain Newsletter is on the Noticeboard along with a couple of Vacancies - should you or someone you know feel called to be involved - they would love to hear from you!
South West Queensland Christian Convention- “Hearts on Fire” – 18-20 July
Hosted at the Dalby Christian College, is an annual conference with the purpose of supporting and encouraging regional churches in SW Qld by gathering together as one body. Focusing on gospel centred preaching, SWQCC runs sessions and seminars over one weekend yearly, that are built for Christians in rural areas. We also share stories of Christian life from the South West region, with the hope of building up believers who may usually be isolated from gathering in large groups.
Dave Jenson is the 2025 Speaker with a deep love for Jesus & a passion for evangelism
You can attend a session or the whole weekend – Registrations are open online - https://qcca.org.au/swqcc/
