Easter is the most sacred of Christian holidays and celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The Season of Easter begins with Easter Sunday, which is observed on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. It lasts for seven weeks, until the Festival of Pentecost.

Safe Church Training
For those whose Safe Church Training is due in June or July - Training can be done anytime Online or refer to the dates for Live Online Sessions.

Shepherds Breakfast – Saturday 7th June @ 8am St John’s Anglican Church Hall
St John’s Anglican Church Dalby is hosting as ecumenical “Shepherds Breakfast” - a simple Breakfast followed by time for discussion.

Special PARISH MEETING – Sunday 8th June from 1pm at St Johns Downfall Creek
A Special Parish Meeting has been called - 1pm for Arrival and Cuppa with 1:30pm Start.
Items on the Agenda are:-
1. Present Tabled Motion from St. Johns Downfall Creek
That the money remaining in the parish bank account from the sale of the Wandoan Manse be transferred to St John’s Downfall Creek.
St John’s Downfall Creek commits to using this money for the ministry needs for the Miles to Taroom area.
Downfall Creek recognises the current arrangement with St Marks Court and will undertake to honour that agreement.
2. Update on Ministry at Charleville.

Donations for Exterior Painting of St Mark’s Church Plant: Donations to date $13700
Our church building has now been painted. The quoted price for the entire church plant (excluding the manse) is $75 000. We are seeking donations/pledges to continue this work and cover the cost of painting the hall and Sunday School rooms later in the year.

St Mark’s is offering a full subsidy for camp costs for any child or youth who is part of our church or ministry programs.
