Easter is the most sacred of Christian holidays and celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.  The Season of Easter begins with Easter Sunday, which is observed on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.  It lasts for seven weeks, until the Festival of Pentecost.

Eva’s Place:

Eva’s Place is looking to welcome new volunteers to continue the important work of bringing hope to women and families experiencing unexpecting and/or challenging pregnancies in Dalby (and surrounds!).  At this time, the greatest need is for:

  • a Baby Goods Assistant: available Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays 9am-3pm, to sort and display baby goods and resources, prepare gift packs and assist clients to find the goods they need; and

  • a Mums’ Group Assistant: available fortnightly on Tuesdays during school terms, to help with running Mum’s Group including program planning and hospitality.

Holiday Fun Time 2026:

HFT 2026 – Mon 21st, Tues 22nd, Wed 23rd September – If you can help in any way, (leader, helper, games, baking etc) please contact Aimee Johnson or Jacinta Hensel.


C.H.A.O.S. Term 2:

St. Mark's Youth ministry program, C.H.A.O.S. will be starting Term 2 on the 1st May with Bake-Off.  Youth will decorate a cake that will be auctioned off on the Sunday 3rd May after Church service.  The money raised from the cake auction will go towards resources and our youth break-up party.  If you have any questions, contact the Youth Ministry Coordinator.

 

CLW Camps:

Hello young and mature adults! 🙂 We have our Christan Life Week (CLW) Darling Downs camp coming up in the June/July school holidays!  We need leaders, so we want to invite you to change the lives of young people today for the future.  Please put in your Expression of Interest via the LYQ website or speak with the Youth Coordinator Aimee for more information.

 

Motorist’s Prayer:

Have you heard of the motorist’s prayer?  It’s asking God to keep watchful eye on you while driving yourself or your friends around.  They are a sticker, $6 each.
