🎂 Youth Bake-Off & Cake Auction – This Weekend!🎂
Youth Ministry kicks off this Friday, 9th May, with a Bake-Off where our youth will be decorating cakes! These cakes will be auctioned off after the church service on Sunday, 11th May, on the hall deck.
Last year, we raised over $1,400 – and this year, we’re aiming to beat that record!
Funds raised will go towards youth resources and our end-of-year break-up party.
There will be 6 amazing cakes up for auction — don’t miss your chance to take one home and support our youth! Thank you for your wonderful support!
CLW CAMP - Registration is OPEN!!
As part of our continued commitment to supporting our young people on their faith journeys, St Mark’s is offering a full subsidy for camp costs for any child or youth who is part of our church or ministry programs. This means that eligible campers and leaders can attend at no cost—what a blessing! When registering online, simply enter the relevant code at the payment section to apply the full subsidy. If you would like to know more, please contact our Youth Ministry Coordinator, Aimee for more information.
About CLW Camps
CLW is a week-long camp experience filled with faith, fun, and friendship. With inspiring Bible studies, meaningful worship, and outdoor activities, these camps are designed to help young people deepen their relationship with God while building strong friendships and life skills. We’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact these camps have, and we’d love for your child to be a part of it!
Would You Like to Support This Ministry?
If you would like to contribute financially to help make CLW possible for our young people, donations are warmly welcomed and go directly to St Mark’s Church. Please note “CLW” on your Offering envelope or EFT transfer so we can ensure your gift is directed to this amazing opportunity. Every contribution helps support the faith journey of our youth—thank you for your generosity and care!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help with registration or confirming your eligibility for the subsidy.
Prayer Points for the Week:
for the whole church, the flock of Christ
for all who are newly baptised or confirmed
for those who persecute God's people, like Saul, that they may repent
for Christians who have fallen into sin, like Peter, that they may be restored to service
for the nations of the world, that the good news may be heard in every land
for those who are sick, disabled, or elderly, and who must be cared for by others
for all Christians, that we may be fishers of people, casting out the net of the gospel
