LCA Story of the Week
With COVID-19 having closed some state borders, Faye Schmidt applied to relocate from Melbourne to Adelaide to be near her daughter. She was advised to proceed to the SA border where her entry would be permitted or denied. This stressful ordeal highlighted for Faye what it means to live under God’s grace.
Together in mission 2020
The annual LLL publication 'Together in mission' (Tim) is now available online - lll.org.au/tim. Hard copies of the Tim, will shortly be arriving at your congregation. Tim summarises and celebrates the many projects and missions that the LLL has assisted in the past year. We encourage all congregational members to read the latest edition to find out how the support of our customers has assisted the wider church. Past editions are also available on the LLL website.
Gift of Grace
COVID has kept us apart for too long. This Christmas, more than ever before, we need to find ways to connect with those we care about. Our own friends and families. Families in the world’s poorest countries, forgotten and threatened by poverty, conflict and COVID-19. That’s where ALWS Gifts of Grace is the answer! Available from church office
Budget & Elections meeting will be held on Sunday 29th November. Reports are needed by 10 November.
